Similac Stage 1 Infant Formula (Up to 6 months) Classic is a spray-dried infant milk substitute formulated for infants up to 6 months of age. Directions for Use:

• Use as directed by your baby’s physician
• Proper hygiene, handling and storage are important when preparing infant formula. Failure to follow these instructions can potentially lead to adverse effects on the health of your baby
• Powdered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by your baby’s physician
• Use only the scoop enclosed in this box to measure Similac Classic 1 powder
• Once feeding begins, use within one hour or discard
• Standard reconstitution is one level scoop (approximately 4.4 g) of powder for each 30 ml (1 fl oz) of water or 128.6 g of powder diluted to 1 L which supplies approximately 20 calories per 30 ml
• Wash your hands and utensils
• Thoroughly boil the utensils for 5 mins
• Boil drinking water for 5 mins and allow it to cool
• Add previously boiled water to the bowl as per the suggested feeding tablet
• Take 1 levelled scoop (Approx. 4.4 g) for each 30 ml of water
• Mix until completely dissolved, test temperature and feed the baby. Discard leftover feed within 1 hour

Storage:

• This box contains a sealed foil pouch. Once foil pouch has been opened, contents should be used within 2 weeks
• Please do not empty the content of foil to the container and continue to use powder from foil pouch
• Transfer the pouch into another clean air-tight container and store in a cool, dry & hygienic place (Do not refrigerate)
• For extra precaution, fold the foil pouch after every use to avoid powder exposure to the environment.
